What is JUN-AIR?
JUN-AIR stands for low-noise, sustainable compressors that deliver stable pressure with minimal maintenance requirements. Thanks to quiet motors and a low-vibration design, they are suitable for spaces where people work: treatment rooms, laboratories, analysis and measurement rooms. JUN-AIR is part of The Gast Group and benefits from an international service network and extensive engineering expertise.
Why choose JUN-AIR?
- Low noise – designed for use in close proximity to users and equipment (no separate compressor room required).
- Reliable – proven components, both oil-lubricated and oil-free versions; long service life under continuous operation.
- Clean air – can be combined with filtration and adsorption dryers to provide class-compliant compressed air for critical applications.
- Applications – dental, medical, laboratory, food & beverage, general industry.
Air treatment (recommended)
For dry and clean compressed air, Tech-Air recommends a pre-filter & water separator at the inlet and an adsorption dryer after the compressor. For bulk water removal: nano F1 water separator (up to 99% liquid separation). For constant dew points down to −40 °C: nano D-series (D1/D2/D3) drying systems.
Configuration & selection
- Oil-free (cleanroom/dental patient environment): minimal emissions; combine with fine filtration and a dryer.
- Oil-lubricated (general laboratories/industry): higher efficiency and service life; combine with after-treatment to achieve the desired ISO 8573-1 class.
- Tank options: coated or stainless steel tanks for humid environments; automatic condensate drain.
- Dryers & filters: nano D-series (−20/−40/−70 °C options) and nano F1 water separator at the front of the air treatment chain.
Installation advice
- Install on a vibration-free, well-ventilated location; allow sufficient service space around the unit.
- Use compressed air piping with the correct diameter and an isolatable bypass around dryers/filters.
- Prevent condensation issues: water separator immediately after the aftercooler, dryer after filtration.
- Electrical: power supply according to motor specification; voltage drop <10% for reliable starting and operation.
Maintenance (brief)
- Periodic inspection/replacement of filters (intake and compressed air).
- Check and automate condensate drainage (preferably a float drain).
- For oil-lubricated versions: check oil level and follow the oil change interval as specified.
